What a nice surprise to visit the annual Fredericksburg Children's Art Festival yesterday at the Dorothy Hart Community Center and find so many students' art from our Lower School and my private classes (on display today and tomorrow until noon). Not only did we show in numbers, but seven awards were placed beside their hard work!

Congratulations to all who participated- you shared your talents with many admirers. You will receive a participation award from me:)

The following students received awards:

Mason Allen- 4th grade for her clay storyteller

Jillian Murphy- 4th grade for her marker drawings

Christopher Sniffen- 2nd grade for his Chinese ink painting

Jessica Meyer- 2nd grade for her cardboard print urban landscape

Mikaila Reynolds- 7th grade for her oil painting

Emma Kruus- 3rd grade for her oil painting
