SPRING BREAK 2011

Hello all!
I have started the image above for Via Colori 2011 to be completed in 2 weeks.

It shows an artist, Kat O'Sullivan, in a rainbow colored sweatercoat that she recycled out of old sweaters. She is standing on an old wooden swing in her upstate New York woods-it's the happiest image I've attempted yet. For the first time in my life, I got the call yesterday that I'm "sold out" at the Virginia Museum. I never realized how good those words felt- so now I am working on more sewn creations, a little faster than I intended! Two felted scarves, one violet and hunter green, the other ivory and teal, are finished and getting shipped today.
