Happy Thanksgiving to you, bloggers! What does a ballerina, a 72" cubist bear, and cattle have in common? Sammy T's in December.
Here's a preview of December works....

The week after Black Friday brings the last
chance of 2011 to visit Fredericksburg's fabulous art galleries on a First Friday evening, and I wish all fellow artists a successful end to 2011.
I'm in the home stretch for a show at Sammy T's Restaurant, 801 Caroline Street, opening
First Friday December 2, 6-9pm
with two other special fellow artists. Ed King and myself will have works for sale in the main restaurant, while Mr. Barrett Reynolds, a 4th grader I know quite well, will be debuting his extra-large ink paintings in the Frozen Yogurt Shop at Sammy T's. An entire troop of Girl Scouts is expected to stop in and earn an art appreciation badge! The excitement is building- he titled all of his work in a Renaissance theme, except for the robotic knight. My guess is that one's a visitor from the future...
Here's the thing -Barrett's work is so large that we have to use the windows, so they are on display for one night only.
Ed and I will have our work up until New Year's.
Thank you and best wishes,
Mirinda
