Our first visit yeilded ooh's and ahhh's from our 83 participating students at Fredericksburg Academy this school year as Ruth Golden demonstrated wheelthrowing.
Our class project involved learning about the shapes of pottery that can be thrown and the assembly of handles for each. All students created two handles that I am attaching to three thrown vessels by Ruth. Once they are fired and glazed, I will share with you.

Cool Project!!! So glad that the kids got to get their hands in the clay!! It wold have been almost impossible to keep them out of it!!!
